What is a MySQL Database?

A MySQL is a database, that will be used to store large amounts of information used by plugins that need to refer to information about a player, world or anything else in the game. Some of the plugins that use MySQL are Logblock/Hawkeye logging, Survival Games, and many other plugins that REQUIRE a database. They are relatively easy to use and free at MelonCube Hosting.

How do I create a MySQL database?

First, you need to be logged into your Multicraft account and be in the server view.

Step 1: In the left sidebar there is a dropdown called 'Advanced', click it and from the dropdown, select 'MySQL Database'
Step 2: If you have already created a MySQL database it will be displayed there, if not in the sidebar click 'Create Database'
Step 3: A window will pop-up saying: "This creates a new MySQL database for this server.", click 'OK'
Step 4: You're done! All the details will be displayed on the page.
